Our privacy promise

Your info stays yours.

Your info is never sold. Vendors only get your number when you share it.

Read the policy

The short version

Your number stays private.

Vendors see what you need, not who you are. They get your phone and email only when you tap Share my info.

No ads.

Nothing on the site or in your planner is an ad, and any spot a vendor pays for carries a label.

We never sell your info.

Vendors pay a small fee to send a quote. That's how we make money, so your info is never for sale.

The policy

We never sell your data

Not to vendors, not to advertisers, not to anyone. Houston Party Co. makes its money from the small fee vendors pay to send a quote, so we never need to.

There are no ads

Nothing on the site or in the app is an ad. When a vendor pays for a better spot, it carries a label.

Vendors see your request, not you

A vendor sees your event type, date, part of town, guest count, budget range and what you asked for. Your name, phone and email stay private until you tap “Share my info” on that vendor's quote.

What a vendor sees

  • Your event type
  • The date
  • The part of town
  • Your guest count
  • Your budget range
  • What you asked for

Private until you share

  • Your name
  • Your phone
  • Your email

Why we confirm your phone

We text you a code once before your first request goes out. That proves you're a real person, which keeps fake requests away from vendors. We don't text you anything else unless you ask us to.

The early access list

While the planner gets ready, you can join the early access list. If you do, we keep what you type in the form: your first name, your phone number or email, and the party details you add (the kind of party, the date, the ZIP and any ideas you picked). For a vendor, it's the business name, what you do, your phone or email, and your website or Instagram. We also keep the time you signed up and the consent line you agreed to.

We use it for one thing: to text or email you when planning (or vendor profiles) opens, with your picks ready. It's stored with our hosting provider, Vercel, and we don't share it with vendors or anyone else. Reply STOP to any text to stop texts. To see what we have, change it, or have it deleted, write to hello@houstonpartyco.com and we'll take care of it.

Cookies and Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics to count visits and learn which pages help people, like how many open a party page or join the list. It sets cookies in your browser (named _ga and _ga_ plus an ID) that tell one visit from the next, and they last up to two years. Google receives your IP address, your browser and device type, and the pages you visit. We never send it your name, phone or email, and we don't use it for ads.

You can block or delete these cookies in your browser's settings, or turn Google Analytics off everywhere with Google's opt-out add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. The site works the same either way.
