Houston notes
- Possession and use of fireworks is illegal inside City of Houston limits, with fines of $500-$2,000 per firework; whether handheld sparklers count is not spelled out, so confirm with HFD and the venue or use cold sparks.
- This can need a city, park, fire or sound permit, or the venue's OK. Check before you book.
- Many venues ban or limit this. Check your venue's rules first.
- Mistakes here can hurt people. Hire licensed and insured pros.
